Where are my festival lovers? I know, i know... Long time no posts... There were some snowstorms here, then I got lazy... But no excuses, I'm sorry...
Anyway I wanna present you the Wireless Festival. Its the music festival held in Hyde Park, London. Originally sponsored by O2, it was called the O2 Wireless Festival (from 2005. to 2008.), but then, their main sponsor became Barclaycard, hence Barclaycard Wireless Festival. The first festival took place in summer 2005. It was a 4 day madness with headliners like New Order, Moby, Hard-Fi, Basement Jaxx, Keane, Kasabian... In 2006, the festival played in both Hyde Park and Harewood House. Do I have to say The Strokes, David Gray, Massive Attack, James Blunt and Depeche Mode? Do I really? The ´07. and ´08. were also great according to my secret sources (smiley goes here).
The 2009 festival was sponsored by Barclaycard and was cut from four to two days in Hyde Park. This is where decrees in popularity began. Anyway, ´10. ´11. were better with adding one more day to festival.
As far as Wireless Festival 2012 is concerned, it will be held from July 6th to July 8th. Confirmed to play are Drake, Example, Wiz Khalifa, Professor Green, Rihanna, Jessie J, Calvin Harris, Labrinth, J. Cole, Rizzle Kicks, Kaskade, Flux Pavilion.
